2. Data we collect

This is an informational website: it has no data collection forms, uses no profiling cookies or analytics tools, and loads no resources from third-party services (fonts are hosted on our own server).

  • Browsing data: like any website, the systems running this site log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and date and time of the visit.
  • Language selection: on your first visit, your IP address is checked on our server, without any external service, against the public list of addresses assigned to Italy, only to show the site in Italian or English. The result is not stored.
  • Data you provide: if you email or call us, we process the data you share (name, contact details, message content) in order to reply.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Running and securing the website (browsing data) — legitimate interest of the controller, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Replying to information and demo requests — pre-contractual steps taken at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We do not use your data for marketing without specific consent, nor for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. How data is processed and who receives it

Data is processed electronically, with organisational measures strictly related to the purposes above. Besides the controller, data may be accessed by authorised staff and by providers that deliver technical services on our behalf (for example our hosting and email provider), appointed as data processors.

5. Retention

  • Contact data: for as long as needed to handle your request and for 24 months afterwards.
  • Browsing data: up to 12 months, unless needed to investigate offences.
  • Contract data: 10 years after the end of the relationship, as required by law.

6. Data transfers

Data is processed within the European Union. If a transfer to a third country is ever needed, it will follow the safeguards set out in the GDPR, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Cookies

This site sets no profiling or third-party cookies. If you switch language from the menu, we store your choice in a technical cookie (lang, 12 months) so that you see the same language next time. Technical cookies do not require consent.

8. Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@depcolabs.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and role-based access controls.
